I know your post is about DAW so, my question is how PT is better than SONAR? I dont think much about price but i cant afford an 10K USD system right now, I would see 3K as a reasonable price right now. Thinking PT is the biggest one, I think i should invest on a 003 system, but I V-studio 700 (surface only) looks great and cheaper and I’m preety used to Sonar. Thought about Mackie MCU, but their not producing it anymore till Feb next year (if they really come back). Thing is, I really need to get an control surface to speed up my work because i dont have much time to work on music, I’m on Sonar now but I wonder if I’m going to like PT more and then what surface I’l get.
